days, many children have asthma. It is a disease that affects the

So, how do you get asthma? Well, no one knows for sure why some children
get it. But it often runs in families. If you have asthma, it is very
important for you to make your own list of things that cause an attack
for you. You may need to have allergy tests so that you can find out.
After finding out the causes of your asthma, you will have to work
closely with your parents and doctor. They can help you how to manage
your asthma.
There are many things that can start an asthma attack. Colds and flu
cause most attacks of asthma for kids. Cold weather can cause it,
too. Also, dust often causes asthma attacks. So it is important to
keep your room clean. Some animals can also cause asthma attacks.
Therefore, it's best not to have a pet in your house.
If you have to take some medication, always have it with you if you
are away from home or school. Also, don't forget to carry your puffer
when you go out. Exercise such as swimming helps you breathe better.
Eating a balanced diet with lots of fruit and vegetables helps you
stay healthier, too. |
