your body flexible? How far do your legs spread? If you think your
body is stiff, it¡¯s time to exercise. If you don¡¯t like
active exercise, why don¡¯t
you learn yoga? It helps your
body become more flexible. It
is also good for your mind. I¡¯m sure you have heard of yoga.
But do you know what it is, and why it is so famous?
Yoga can make you strong and healthy. Yoga is easy to
learn. It can be done at home, too. It¡¯s
different from working out in the gym. Yoga was invented 3,000
years ago in India. In India, yoga means to unite the mind, body, and
spirit. By stretching the muscles and toning them,
you can improve flexibility and strength. Yoga can also reduce your stress! It helps
you get a very clear mind, too.
So, where can you learn yoga? Many community centers and gyms
have yoga classes for both kids and
adults. It¡¯s actually a good idea to attend a class with your
mom or dad. If you prefer to stay home, you
can still learn yoga. There are many DVDs and websites teaching yoga poses. You can learn by following
the poses.
I know it may seem weird at first. But believe me,
your body will thank you. Just wear some comfortable clothes and get a mat with some cushions. Now, you are ready
for yoga! If you want to see some results, remember you have
to be consistent. Exercise at least 3 days a week for
4 to 6 weeks. You will feel and look different. |
