activities. These days, many people go on a picnic or camping. They often bring
food to eat outside.
However, you have to be careful when enjoying food
outside in May and June. This is because the warm temperatures can make food
go bad. According to the Korea Food
& Drug Administration (KFDA)½ÄǰÀǾàǰ¾ÈÀüû, food poisoningoccurs mostfrequently in May and June.
Many people believe that food poisoning
tends to occur in July and August.
However, the KFDA said that May and June are the most dangerous months. If you
leave food outside for more
than four hours, germs can increaserapidly and cause food poisoning. Therefore,
you should be very careful when eating food outdoors. In order toavoid food poisoning, wash
your hands often. Also, keep your food in coolplaces. Before putting something
in your mouth, smell it first and see if it is OK to eat.
