(PE) class. But you should participate in your PE class.

According to Swedish researchers, increasing levels of physical education
improves children’s grades. The researchers at Malmo University in
Sweden studied more than 200 schoolchildren over nine
years. They followed the students since they were in third grade.
The study found that 96 percent of students in the first group achieved grades that allowed
them to advance to uppersecondary schools. In the
second group where the children received normal levels of PE, only
89 percent of students achieved such grades.
study showed that the difference was especiallyevident among boys. The boys
who received extra PE had much higher grades in many subjects compared to those who received
the normal amount of PE. The researchers concluded that physical education
plays a very important role for growing children.
“Many schools pared down physical education and children participate
in physical activities only once or twice a week,” said Ingegerd
