 Kumsung
church, located in Huam dong, Seoul,
has sent out a mission on August 3. In the 2008 VISION TRIP, a team
of middle school, high school and university students sent out a helping
hand and spread the word of God in
the Philippines.
The group of energetic youths got their inspiration for the mission’s
posters from the recent movie The Best Moment
of Our Lives우리 생애 최고의 순간.
The mission started in a very poor part of the Philippines, Cainta.
They performed a fan dance and
a worship dance. They also
did face painting and made balloon art for the children, and helped
out with the chores for the families in
need.
The goal was to spread the love of Jesus through out the world. In addition, a team of doctors
will provide free medical care
to people who have never seen a hospital in all of their lives.
This mission was sponsored by Times Core Inc. that publishes the weekly English
Newspapers, The Teen Times and The Kids Times.
They have been doing their best to help out the needy neighborhoods around Seoul
Station by collecting funds and offering voluntary services.
The Teen Times will publish pictures and stories of the mission in
